TCC Alerts sends out timely notifications in the event of an emergency.
TCC students, faculty and staff are automatically subscribed into this system and need not take any further action. If you are not a current TCC student, faculty or staff member but wish to subscribe to TCC Alerts, you can register here.
Tallahassee Community College tests the TCC Emergency Alert Notification System on a quarterly basis and will conduct such a test on:
Friday, October 20, 2017, at approximately 3:00 PM
The TCC Emergency Alert Notification System test will include notifications sent via the following methods: voice messages to mobile phones and classroom phones, text messages to mobile phones, campus wide CaptivEyes monitors, e-mail, Alertus computer screen pop-ups, outdoor warning sirens, and posts to Facebook and Twitter accounts. During the test, the TCC website will automatically forward users to the TCC Alerts page.
Current TCC students, faculty, and staff are automatically enrolled to receive alert messages. Faculty and staff members must have mobile numbers listed as primary contact numbers in order to receive text alerts.
If you would like to receive TCC Alerts advisories, please visit https://www.getrave.com/login/tcc and click the “register” button. TCC provides this service free of charge, but your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.
At the time the test is conducted, students, faculty, and staff will not need to take any action.
