Borrower ID and PIN
While navigating the library resources you may be asked to login with a borrower ID and PIN.
Your borrower ID number is found on your TCC ID Card, beneath the barcode.
It is a 14-digit number beginning with 25801... and can be used to:
- Access online databases
- Place reserve requests for Library materials
- Check out 'e-books' online
- Log into 'My Account'
Your default setting for your PIN is the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
If this isn’t working, contact the Circulation Department at the Library in person, by telephone at (850) 201-8376 (have your TCC ID Card ready nearby when you call), or email us at email@example.com. When e-mailing, include your name and the 25801... number beneath the bar code on your TCC ID Card.
If you’ve forgotten your PIN it can be reset online.
Who can borrow books and other materials?
Borrowing of all Library items - books, videos, reserves, etc.- is a privilege available to TCC students, faculty and staff. Reciprocal Privileges are also available to individuals from other Florida public universities and community colleges with current college IDs.
How can I check out a laptop?
Current students may check out either a HP mini or HP ProBook from the main campus library or Ghazvini LLC. Students must complete the Student Laptop Checkout Form before checking out a laptop for the first time. The form should be submitted online. Laptops are for use within the library.
Can I check out books from FSU or other colleges?
Current students and staff of any public college or university are eligible to use selected resources at any other public college or university library through our statewide reciprocal borrowing agreement. These privileges often include the ability to check out books and select other physical materials and the use of the library facility for studying. Locally, this means that TCC students may use the libraries at FSU and FAMU. Students must show TCC ID card with a current semester sticker to utilize these services. Materials checked out are subject to local rules regarding check out period and overdue fees.
The book I need is checked out. Can I request to have it when it's returned?
If LINCCWeb shows that an item is checked out, you may request to have it next by clicking on the "request item" link. The Circulation Desk will notify you as soon as the item is available.
How long is the checkout period?
Books and videos check out for 2 weeks with the possibility of one renewal. Reserve materials (textbooks), Reference books, magazines, newspapers and some of our videos are for in-library use only.
You can renew items checkout out on your card from our website using the My Account feature. If you wish to renew an overdue item, you'll need to call Circulation services at (850) 201-8376.
What are reserve materials and where are they?
Reserves are items, including textbooks, that TCC instructors have placed for student use at the Circulation Desk, on the first floor of the Library. Reserve materials can include additional reading assignments, sample test questions, class notes, and other course related supplements. Reserve items are arranged by course number (located on your schedule or syllabus). You will need your TCC ID Card to view any reserve materials located in the library.
Reserve materials are checked out for one hour at a time, and are "in-house-use", which means they are to be used only within the Library/Learning Commons building. Removing a reserve item from the Library/Learning Commons building will result in a student’s library privileges being blocked, i.e. the student will not be allowed access to any other reserve materials for any class for the rest of the semester. Any items not returned within 24 hours of checkout will result in the student being charged the replacement cost of the item, and their instructor will be notified.

Where can I print and photocopy?
Current students are allotted $4.00 each semester for prints or photocopies. Students may add additional funds to their Print account as needed. Prints can be sent to our virtual print servers through library desktop computers or emailed directly to the printers.
How do I get a TCC ID Card?
Visit the Cashier's Office for information on how to obtain an ID card.
Distance Learning Students
Distance Learning students may request a non-photo ID card to use the library online databases or reciprocal library services in your geographic area. Be sure to include your first and last name, your mailing address, phone, and email, and send request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are a distance learner residing in the tri-county area (Leon, Gadsden & Wakulla) and plan to use any of the campus Learning Commons services (Writing, Math & Science Centers, Student Media Project area), Computer Labs, or Testing Center, you will need to obtain an ID card from the Cashier's Office in person.
