Countdown to Commencement

Commencement Ceremony

Graduating college is a remarkable achievement and one worth celebrating with family and friends. Join Tallahassee Community College (TCC) for the 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, located at 505 West Pensacola Street in Tallahassee (map it). Tickets are not required of graduates or their guests to attend the ceremony.

Students eligible to participate in the ceremony:

  • Summer 2017 graduates
  • Fall 2017 graduates
  • Anticipated spring 2018 graduates

Participation in commencement does not constitute the completion of graduation requirements. All students must complete the graduation application in Eaglenet to graduate and be eligible to participate.

The Commencement Ceremony is a distinguished tradition at TCC. All students are required to attend a mandatory graduation orientation. In orientation you will be guided through the ceremony protocol and etiquette, receive information on appropriate attire for the ceremony, and have the opportunity to ask any questions.

Detailed information about the mandatory graduation orientation dates and times will be sent to graduating students in February. Please remember to check your TCC email.
