How to Apply

  1. Access the TCC Scholarship Application
  2. Register as a "First Time User" to create username and password
  3. Once logged in, access the online TCC Scholarship Applications

On December 1, 2017, the online scholarship application will open and will remain open for the 2018-19 academic year for students to apply for scholarships being offered by TCC and the TCC Foundation. There is no need to apply more than once after you have successfully submitted your 2018-19 application. Your application will be reviewed during each of the three awarding cycles according to the calendar below.

2018-19 DEADLINES

FALL 2018 - CYCLE 1 AWARDING

For current HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Scholarship funding provided by TCC and the TCC Foundation.
 
Application Opens:     December 1, 2017
Application Deadline:    February 16, 2018
 
Recipient Award Notification begins: 4/01/2018 (For applications submitted between 12/01/17 - 2/16/18)
 
 

FALL 2018 - CYCLE 2 AWARDING

For ALL STUDENTS (New, Continuing, Returning, and Transfer Students)
Scholarship funding provided by TCC and the TCC Foundation.
 
        Application Opens:       December 1, 2017
Application Deadline:    May 4, 2017
 
Recipient Award Notification: 6/08/2017 (for applications submitted between 12/01/17 - 5/04/18) 

SPRING/SUMMER 2019 - CYCLE 3 AWARDING

For ALL STUDNETS ( New, Continuing, Returning, and Transfer Students)
Scholarship funding provided by TCC and the TCC Foundation.
 
 Application Opens:       December 1, 2017
Application Deadline:    August 31, 2018
 
Recipient Award Notification begins:10/05/2018 (for applications submitted between 12/01/17 - 8/31/18)

TCC Foundation

The TCC Foundation is committed to ensuring student success through scholarships to both traditional and non-traditional students. Each year, more than 400 students receive financial assistance from the TCC Foundation scholarships.

Student Ambassador

Grow, serve and earn scholarship money in the process. The TCC Student Ambassador Scholarship offers an opportunity to get involved in areas like orientation and mentorship. Plus, those selected score full tuition and fees for one academic year. The scholarship is also renewable for a second academic year.

Housing

Hunting for new digs while pinching pennies? Apply for a housing scholarship with Southern Scholarship Foundation (SSF). SSF is a non-profit organization that awards affordable living opportunities to qualified students. All applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and a demonstrated financial need.

Pre-Collegiate

TCC provides funding for special programs that assist pre-collegiate-level youth with finding a better path through education. These programs include Take Stock in Children (TSIC), which provide low-income youth with scholarships, mentors, and hope for a better life through education.

Florida Bright Futures

Florida Bright Futures Programs include:

  • Florida Academic Scholars Scholarship
  • Florida Medallion Scholarship
  • Florida Vocational Gold Seal Scholarship.

The State will select and notify eligible recipients. Students may contact the State of Florida concerning transfer of Bright Futures scholarships at www.firn.edu/doe/brfutures or via the toll free phone number at (888) 827-2004.
