As a new student at TCC, you are bound to have questions. Orientation is designed around you, helping to uncover the answers to the questions you have, and providing you information about campus resources, programs, and services.

Before Orientation

Get ready (and set) before you go:

  1. Complete your admission application.
    • Need to double check some things? Login to your TCC Passport account. From there you can view any holds or missing docs on your application, especially Florida Residency documents.
  2. Submit your official transcripts and other credits. These can include:
    • Official high school transcript or GED transcript - request they are sent directly to TCC
    • Official college or university transcripts (for transfer students)
    • AP Scores - send them to TCC by going to the College Board Website
    • CLEP Scores - send them to TCC by going to the College Board Website
  3. Read about your options for placement testing by visiting the Developmental Education Exemption website. Even if you are exempt from placement testing and/or Developmental Education courses, it is a good idea to submit any test scores you have from the past two years. These can include ACT, SAT or PERT scores.
  4. Apply for Financial Aid by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at

    2. Review additional important information about applying for financial aid and available TCC scholarships here.
