Important Information About TCC's APD Training for APD Providers
Are you helping your employees sign-up and register for TCC's APD Training courses? In order to be in compliance with Federal regulations, please read and comply with the following:
Please note - an individual may receive assistance completing the On-line TCC application with the help of a third party (e.g., employer, co-worker, family member, friend), but the individual must :
1) Verify all information provided in the application;
2) Physically click the “Submit” button of their TCC application;
3) Use their home address (not a second party’s address) in their TCC application;
4) Provide the “Security Question” and “Answer to the Security Question” if in the future the student needs to reset their TCC PIN number; and
5) Print out and maintained the printout of their TCC ID, PIN, E-Account, and User Name.
If the individual received assistance completing the On-line TCC application and did not comply with the preceding the following may occur:
1) Significant time delays (e.g., if the APD student does not know their “Security Question” and/or their “Answer to the Security Question” a 32 hour delay may be incurred, excluding weekends/holidays can occur);
2) No course access;
3) No adding/dropping of course(s); and
4) No access to their transcript.

Refund Policy
:
Please note all refunds are issued directly to the student (even when a third party has paid the tuition). In order to be eligible for a course refund, an individual or third party who paid the tuition on behalf of the individual/student must provide a written request (fax and e-mail is acceptable) no later than three (3) business days prior to the student's anticipated start date of the course. Any student who signs into the TCC BlackBoard® system for an APD course will not be eligible for a refund. The request must identify the student's complete name, TCC PIN and course associated with the refund. For more information please contact e-mail apd@tcc.fl.edu.
-
Delays To Be Aware Of
:
Courses will not become accessible until 24 hours after they have been paid for.
Transcripts are updated every Friday for classes completed the previous week. This means that students will typically have to wait a week after completing the course for their proof of completion.
- For information on when you need to renew your required APD courses, please contact your APD area office.
