TCC Quincy House

Quincy House

In September 2004, TCC opened the doors of the Quincy House, TCC's Gadsden County service center, for continuing education courses and after-school tutoring programs. Additionally, TCC initiated Team Gadsden, a partnership with a number of existing community groups and organizations to promote increased learning opportunities. The Quincy House enables and encourages Gadsden County citizens of all ages to see that lifelong education opportunities and meaningful careers can be part of their future.

The Quincy House offers a variety of little or no cost programs for all of Gadsden County. To meet the goal of improving student success rates in Gadsden County Schools, after-school and summer programs are housed here to supplement classroom learning. TCC also supports adult learners in the form of non-credit course offerings, community workshops, computer training and career counseling. Event space is also available for public use.

Quincy House Goals:

  1. To help improve student success rates in Gadsden County Schools.
  2. To establish partnerships with youth support organizations to create and grow after school and summer support programs.
  3. To increase TCC's participation and contribution to Gadsden County economic development activity.
  4. To take a proactive role in assisting other community organizations, agencies and groups dedicated to improving the lives of Gadsden County citizens.
