Ecotourism/Green Guide
The Green Guide Certification Program provides 90 contact hours of classroom and field-based training designed to:
- Enable guides to provide tourists with environmentally and socially responsible choices and experiences
- Educate businesses and provide technical advice
- Create a nature-centered network of guides and program participants
- Protect the area resource base for tourism and local enjoyment
- Increase awareness of responsible business
- Provide accurate information and incorporate up-to-date knowledge and practices
Share your love of nature or history with others by becoming a Green Guide by enrolling in Certification Program.
The fee for the certification program is $320. Individual courses are $20 and individual field trips are $40. The Spring program begins February 20, 2012.
The Green Guide Certification program is offered in the traditional classroom method. Each of the nature based classes and field trips listed below may be taken separately or as part of the certification program. Classes are held at the TCC Wakulla Center, 5 Crescent Way, Crawfordville, FL.

New Classes! We are now offering the Weather and Tides class. Learn about weather patterns, cloud formation, and more.
