The Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC) at Tallahassee Community College (TCC) recognizes the challenges facing companies in today's manufacturing and industrial sector. The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Production Technician Certification  (an Industry Recognized Certificate ): The MSSC Production Technician Certification is awarded to those persons passing an examination encompassing four broad critical manufacturing subject areas: Production and Processes, Safety, Quality Practices and Continuous Improvement, and Maintenance Awareness. TCC is a registered MSSC Assessment Center and one of twelve in Florida. AMTC Incubator Space

The AMTC is located on the Southwest corner of the Tallahassee Community College Campus.  Within the AMTC are two incubator spaces geared toward supporting the growth of upstart manufacturing companies.  In addition, the AMTC offers conference and meeting areas, unique manufacturing training to develop a growing workforce and support from staff that understand the manufacturing sector.  The location of the AMTC is within minutes of all locations that can support a growing manufacturer; Florida State University and Florida A&M University, Interstate-10 and Tallahassee Regional Airport.
