CNC Machine Training
TCC offers CNC Machining classes using various learning methods to increase your understanding and skill, which include classroom instructor time and hands-on manufacturing and programming labs. TCC AMTC has a manufacturing simulator lab that replicates a manufacturing facility so that the learning experience is complete and prepares our students to be confident CNC Machine Operators.
- TCC offers Introduction to CNC Machining with the following topics presented: Safety, Basic Shop Math, Blueprint Reading & Drawing Formats, Precision Measureing & Gauging, Manual Machine Training, Metallurgy, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and hands-on machine familiarization training in the manufacturing lab
- CNC Machining Level 2 and Basic Programming using Haas control simulators and hands-on HAAS CNC Machine training, including lathe and multi-axis vertical mill
- Mastercam
incorporates Online or classroom and computer lab instruction for toolpath creation
- Web-assisted courses meet on a regular basis with instructor interaction throughout the class
- Web-based courses are totally on-line with an initial meeting to establish the student on Blackboard and then periodic interaction for testing. Student will need a USB drive to save and turn in exercises.
