Course Description
This course examines the history, science and vocation of aviation. The student will examine the basics of Aerodynamics, Aircraft Performance, Cross Country Navigation, general Weather Theory, Weather Reports and Forecasts, Federal Aviation Regulations, Flight Physiology, and Safe Flying Practices. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to historical and vocational aspects of the subjects covered. Students will be given an opportunity to experience what they have learned in the classroom in a basic aviation training device. [Simulator] This is a non-credit course. After completion of the course the student may be eligible to take the written test for the Private Pilot Certificate.

Course Description
This course will cover all the aeronautical knowledge areas required under FAR 61.65b for the Instrument Rating written exam. This course will prepare the student to pass the written exam for the FAA Instrument - Airplane Rating.
