The classes are a perfect fit for those wanting to enter the construction industry, as well the person who wishes to improve his or her job skills. TCC uses the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum as the foundation of our entry-level construction programs in order to award industry recognized training. Additionally, TCC is an authorized provider of the OSHA 1926 Construction Safety 10 hour course in either a traditional face-to-face classroom format or online version.

Please note that TCC does not promise, imply, or guarantee employment when an individual enrolls or completes training.
Skill Training Guarantee - If one of our graduates, whose training was paid for by their employer, is deficient in one or more competencies as defined on the Certificate of Completion,he/she may be retrained at no cost (excluding text books) to the employee or employer. This guarantee only applies to graduates of Tallahassee Community College’s – Division of Workforce Development Construction/Trades (excluding Registered Apprenticeship programs) and Green occupational skills training courses or programs who are employed in the field of their training. The employee will be enrolled in the next available course or program dependent upon the course or program “making.” This guarantee is in effect for a period of one (1) calendar year from the completion of the course or program of study.
TCC issued certifications are stand-alone certifications and are not industry recognized certifications. TCC provides industry recognized certifications such as OSHA Safety or NCCER, but industry recognized certifications are only issued by the endorsing entity. Additionally, students will have until 48 hours prior to the start of a class to register and pay for that class. Once the 48 hour deadline has passed, students will not be able to register for the class and all unpaid students will be automatically dropped from the class.
