Electrical Level 1

This a 113 hour construction course designed for individuals who want to enter the construction or want to improve their current job skills. The course consists of both classroom and hands on experience. Course content consists of an introduction to the profession, electrical safety, electrical theory 1 and 2, alternating current, electrical test equipment, introduction to the National Electrical Code, raceways, boxes and fittings, fasteners and anchors, hand bending, conductors, and conductor terminations and splices. 10 hours of OSHA construction (1926) safety training is a co-requisite of this course and is provided by an instructor certified by the Department of Labor and is qualified to issue completers an OSHA 10 hour safety card for verification of the safety training.

This course provides entry level construction workers general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site.
Low Voltage Cabling

This 32 hour course provides the students with the knowledge and skills needed to become a certified entry level technicians in the cabling industry. The course focuses on proper tool use and construction techniques, the characteristics of various industry standards and troubleshooting and repair. Students construct, test and troubleshoot copper-based cabling systems that are the basis of today's television, networking and satellite communications systems. A 10 hour OSHA safety course is a co-requisite. Completers will receive an OSHA 10 hour construction (1926) safety card provided by the U.S. Department of Labor. The instructor is an OSHA certified trainer.

This is an advanced 152.5 hour construction course designed for individuals who want to improve their current job skills as an electrician. The course consists of both classroom & hands on experience. The course content consists of alternating currents, motors: theory and application, grounding, conduit bending, boxes and fittings, conductor installation, cable tray, conductor termination and splices, installation of electrical services, circuit breakers and fuses, contactors and relays and electric lighting.
