Plumbing Construction Level I

This is a 120 hour construction course designed for individuals who want to enter the construction industry or want to improve their current job skills. The course consists of both classroom and hands on experience. Course content consists of the introduction to the plumbing profession, plumbing safety, plumbing tools, introduction to plumbing math, introduction to plumbing drawings, fittings, corrugated stainless tubing, fixtures & faucets, introduction to drain, waste and vent (DWV) systems and introduction to water distribution systems. The core curriculum also includes construction safety, construction math, hand tools and power tools use, blueprint reading, employability and communication skills.
Co-Requisite Plumbing Construction Level I - OSHA 1926

This course provides entry level construction workers general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site.

This is a 165 hour second level plumbing course using the NCCER curriculum that includes the following: Plumbing Math Two, Reading Commercial Drawings, Hangers, Supports, Structural Penetrations and Fire Stopping, Installing and Testing DWV Piping, Installing Roof, Floor and Area Drains, Types of Valves, Installing and Testing Water Supply Piping, Installing Fixtures, Valves and Faucets, Introduction to Electricity, Installing Water Heaters, Fuel Gas Systems and Servicing of Fixtures Valves and Faucets.
