Expanded Functions I - 12 hours

This course leads to certification in polishing clinical crowns, application of topical fluoride, placement and removal of periodontal dressing, suture removal, and much more. You must have a letter of verification of six (6) months chair side experience in a dental office by the practicing dentist to take this course.

Expanded Functions II - 10 hours

Completion of Expanded Functions I is a pre-requisite to taking this course. This course leads to certification in placement and removal of rubber dams, matrices and temporary restorations, application of cavity liners, varnishes and bases, and much more.

Dental Radiology - 9 hours

This course is designed to acquaint dental hygienists and dental assistants with the basics of dental radiology. The content meets the requirements for certification in Florida. You must have a letter of verification of six (6) months chair side experience in a dental office by the practicing dentist to take this course.

Temporary Crowns & Bridges - 7 hours

This course leads to certification in the construction of temporary crowns and bridges and perfection of techniques pertaining to the taking of accurate alginate impressions on patients. Construction of crowns and bridges will be on mannequins. You must have a letter of verification of six (6) months chair side experience in a dental office by the practicing dentist to take this course.
