In 2008, the Florida legislature passed Senate Bill 1360, which requires pharmacy technicians to register with the Pharmacy Board by 2010 and to have completed an approved pharmacy technician training program by 2011. This program prepares students to complete the technical tasks required in a pharmacy, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Students who complete this program are eligible to sit for the national exam administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Pharmacy technicians who successfully pass the exam are eligible to use the title, Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Pharmacy Technician students : After talking with the appropriate coordinator, you will receive an email with a TCC ID code. Please use this code to complete your background and drug screening test.
