English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

TCC offers English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) courses to students whose first language is not English. Students will learn how to speak, listen, read, and write in English.

Enrollment Requirements:

  • Take ESOL Placement test (CASAS®) and score within targeted levels.
  • Students under 18 years old must submit parental consent and proof of official withdrawal from school, or completion high school in home country.
  • Accepted immigration status.
  • First language is not English and can read or write in the first language.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

How to Enroll:

  1. Apply to TCC.
  2. Sign-up to take the ESOL Placement Test by calling 850-201-6655 with your TCC Student ID number.
  3. Register for ESOL courses.
