Backpacks 2 Briefcases | Boots 2 Suits

The SEP program and the Career Center hosts the Spring 2018 Backpack 2 Briefcase and Boots 2 Suits Workshop Series, which are open to all TCC and SEP-enrolled students.

SEP-enrolled students who sign up have the opportunity to earn a Free Kindle Fire and a 1 year membership to Access Tallahassee, while supplies last. To qualify, you must:

  • Attend one Strategic Employment Placement Program Orientation Session, 
  • Attend at least three of the four scheduled career workshops,
  • Attend the Part-time Job Fair on Mar. 28,
  • Attend a Career Center Resumania event to prepare a professional resume, and
  • Schedule an appointment and meet with the Career Center Placement Coordinator or Career Counselor/Career Coach.

Able Trust Scholarship Info Sessions

TCC Workforce Development | Room 207 | 10 - 11 a.m.

The event is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. 

The Strategic Employment Placement Program is offering free college tuition to qualified students with disabilities — the Able Trust Employment Program Scholarship — is now open for applications. Local residents within (Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla) counties who want to learn more about the scholarship can attend a session.

Scholarship Information

Both current and incoming TCC students with disabilities are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must complete all supporting documentation and meet program eligibility prior to submission of the scholarship application.

The scholarship application deadline is August 31.
